dui and dwi

i got a dui in new york in 2005 and a

dwi in 2006 in suffolk county. i need

to know how i can file for an early

release . im only down for a

misdemeanor. i was sentenced for 3

years and am able to file for an early

release this october. what is the best

way to file for an early release? if

granted i will leave for Europe

immediatley and propably will not

come back to new york again. i also

need to know what i can do to get

my drivers liscence back. the judge

sai it would only be revoked for 6

months but now the D.M.V. is asking

me for permission from probation and

i know they will not give it. i have

plans on going to Europe for

schooling and to live there... what

can i do? thank you in advance. oh

yeah, ive paid all my fines done my

dwi classes and have not been in

trouble with the law since.

A lawyer can make a motion for early release from probation and a judge may grant it. It is unlikely that someone with two DWI's in NY will get an early release but your circumstances are out of the ordinary.
