Tough question. DWAI is a traffic infraction, not a crime but the penalties, including suspension are mandatory, while Reckless Driving is a misdemeanor which will carry a smaller fine and no mandatory suspension. Take your choice.

There are similarities but differences. DWI is a crime and also haS LICENSE SUSPENSION RAMIFICATIONS. RECKLESS DRIVING is a misdemeanor which also carries 5 point's on your driving record. They are both serious charges. I handle matters such as you have described on a daily basis.
