Re: dwi

A conviction of Driving While Intoxicated, VTL 1192.2 is a Misdemeanor under the VTL. The person who is convicted or pleas guilty to this charge is considered to have a criminal record and will be required to say they have been convicted of a crime on all official documents. This conviction stays on a persons record for life and is not removed after any period of time.
