Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

eBay purchase

Hello. Please read my situation and try helping me.

Someone from Russia ask me to do a favor. This person bought laptop in eBay using stolen credit card and shipped it to me and I shipped this item to Russia. This person was using my name to make a purchase without my knowledge and authorization. What would be my responsibilities in this case?

Your responsibility could conceivably be as a defendant in a larceny and fraud criminal case. If you are contacted by the authorities, you would be well-served by hiring an attorney.
