e-mail pictures

is there a law violation to send e-mail pictures that are sexual,my girlfriend sent pic's to her sister without my knowledge

I assume you posed for the pictures. If so there is no violation of the criminal law.

This area of Law is truly unsettled. It kind of depends on the facts and circumstances of the situation. For example, In Jane Doe v. William Barlock Jr, in Ohio, the defendant (Barlock Jr.) took photos of Ms. Doe when they were dating. He learned later that he had been cheated on and sent the photo's to 100 people in the company they worked for. She was so embarrassed she couldn't go to work. I think that you could have a case, but you may not be able to find an attorney who will take the case unless you pay up front as the tort of "Outrage" is very difficult to win and the recovery is iffy at best from the law firm prospective.
