Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
If you entered a guilt plea in a situation where you have been charged and indicted but copped out for five years probation on crimes of attempt to sell a controlled substance in the 3rd degree does this mean you have been legally convicted of of this crime?

You have legally been convicted of the felony of Attempted Crriminal Sale of a Controlled substance in the Third Degree, not the original charge..
