evidence.
can someone just wake up one morning and go to the court and ask for a restraining order against someone else without any evidence?

A person CAN go to court and ask for an Order of Protection (or restraining order) and get a TEMPORARY OP (or restraining order) w/o any evidence.
AND sometimes a TOP lasts a very long time! Unfair? DEFINATELY!
