Expungement
I recently had a charge against me dismissed. I would like to know how would i go about getting an expungement? Also about how much does this process usually cost?

Re: Expungement
If the charge against you was dismissed, the record of it is sealed automatically. If you want proof if this, you can go to the courthouse where you case was and request a Certificate of Disposition from the Clerk's Office. This costs ten dollars (cash or money order, no personal checks). The document will list your name and docket number and state that there is "No Public Record."
