extraditing
my brother is being extradited today to florida state from ny state he has served 5 years in ny state prison the charges they are going to try to press are ten years old will these charges run concurrent

It is very unlikely that the Florida charges when and if he is convicted of them, will run concurrently. Each jurisdiction has the right to seek punishment based upon the crimes and circumstances behind the offence occuring in each location or date. Since the crime in Florida was not the same as in New York the results from the Florida case will be on their own time table rather than currently with New York.
