extradition
hi,, my friend waived his extradtion, but now he has been waiting,, but now the state wrote him a letter that he will soon be releases because time is up,, i am a little confused

there is generally a time limit for a prisooner to be picked up by representatives from another county or state, or the federal government, once they have served their sentence... if the time period expires they will be released and it is the prisoners responsibility to then deal with the other situation on their own, and the other jurisdiction to seek the prisoner on their own.
