Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Extradition per Napoleonic Law

I've been charged with 3 counts Gr.

Larc. 4th and 3 Mis Forgery 3rd. in

NY state. I have signed a speedy trial

waiver. I have since immediately

relocated to New Orleans. Am I at

risk for extradition, and is there a

statute of limitations that applies?

Re: Extradition per Napoleonic Law

You should have an attorney arrange your return to New York, otherwise if you get stopped by the police in New Orleans you will likely be put into prison and have to await extradition.
