Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Federal Supervised Release
If you get brought in front of a federal magistrate 2 days b/4 your federal supervised release is about to end, and you haven't been indicted; not convicted; not found guilty on any new criminal charges; only charges are accusations of violating supervised release as per your Probation Officer, can they still proceed with those charges after your date?

Yes. A lawyer however might convince them it is a waste of time or may even be illegal.
