Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Felony

I was arrested on a complaint charge, spent 4 days in jail because my neighbor said i stole her money. i worte out her bills in front of her , and she sign the checks. i had to plead guilty to writting the checks but did not steal the money. i'm ou on bail, next court date is soon. how can i clear my name ? i 'm a former federal employee, who only help her when her family did not. Please help me overcome this charge of midmeanor, and how can i clear my name?
