Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Felony charges

I had some fake money that I didnt know was fake to purchase a money order on November 23rd. I had $80 in real cash with the purchase. Store security team came to my job and told me the cash was fake. We had a verbal agreement whereby they'd return my $80 in real cash and cancel the money order. They also said that they'd allow me to view the security tape showing me making the purchase. Everything else was done except that. I assumed the situation was done and over with but that wasnt the case. They didnt even call the cops for the incident. On December 12th I was arrested at my job by two men who did not identify themselves too me as cops until they had me in their posession. I was taken to the Westchester County Jail where I was searched. In my posession they found $201.00 in fake cash. I have two charges off being in posession off a false document. I went too court on the 16th and my bail was set at $2000 my family paid it and I was released on the 17th. I was told this is a felony charge. Not sure if its a class E or C felony. I need someone to represent me in court. I also need too know what my options are as per sentencing. How many years can I serve in prison for this? I need to prepare my family for this as well as myself
