Second Felony Offender in New York State
a man I know has been charged with a felony DWI no more then five years ago. Just recently he was charged with assault in the 3rd and burglary in the 1st. What would be his likely sentence due to being a second felony offender.

The probable sentence is hard to predict without knowing more about the case, the alleged victim and your friend. The only thing known for sure is that the MAXIMUM sentence would be 12.5 to 25 years.
