Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I got into a fight about a month ago, my lawyer is saying i have a 80% chance of being free, im worried about the 20% what may happen? i got in trouble for fight 13 months ago and the judge warned me not to fight within a 14 month period of time what am i looking at?

You need to provide more information on your last case. If you pled guilty and received a conditional discharge, the judge can resentence you on the original charge and you would face up to the maximum penalty you could have originally received for that charge. Getting into a fight could be only a disorderly conduct ( a violation) or any level of assault. You could therefore face anywhere from 15 days in jail on a disorderly conduct to up to 25 years in state prison for an assault in the first degree.
