im finish serving time for a case,but i have a warrant for another case,how long can they hold me for

Assuming the warrant is in the same state and not an extradition case, you must be brought to court as soon as possible. There is no set time but if there is unreasonable delay, more than a few days, your lawyer should obtain a Writ to force them to take you to court so you can ask for bail'
