Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Florida Crime, New York resident
My Florida lawyer does not know the ramifications of a no contest plea for New York State residents. I was charged with a Minor in Possession of Alcohol in Florida and I was wondering if my driving privileges would be taken away in New York even though I was nowhere near a car?

Generally, if your conviction is not for DWI (or something associated) then I would suggest you have no worries regarding your NY license, however generally the out of state courts have no jurisdiction to affect your NY license.
This may not fully answer your question but is atleast a clue in that direction.
