Forgery Affidavit
If someone fills out a forgery affidavit with a dollar amount much greater than the actual forgery amount ($879 versus $400) in order to make the crime seem worse is there any penalty for this?

Re: Forgery Affidavit
YEs, this could create both criminal and civil liability meaning you could face criminal charges but also be sued for monetary damages asa result of the fraudulent action.
