Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
My friend came home one night to find his sons mother in bed with another man, he lost it and attacked them he started hitting them with his fist, his sons mother gave the cops his information and now they are looking for him they are not married they just lived together, will he get charged with battery and what is the punishment for battery in NYC? will they be more lenient with him given the situation? Please help!
