Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Hi I went out with a friend about a month ago and we went to a club now he is accusing me of stealing his sundglasses which i never did. they were worth 5,000 dollars and he hes threatening to press charges on me. He claims to have video footage of me taking them which has no validity at all because I never took them. What steps should i take next ? He is threatening to file a police report.

If you are contacted by the police, you should contact a criminal attorney and do not speak with the police without that attorney present. Until he brings it to the police there is not much you can do except ignore his threats.
