Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i had a full stay away order and has been reduced to a no hurrasment order sign by the same judge. my probation office says that i cant see the person with the order of protection even though i have an signed paper that says i can he has a copy of the new order as well My question is can i see her without getting in trouble or vilating my probation

If the only reason your probation officer tells you to have no contact is because of the Order of Protection there is no violation if you do have contact. If there is another reason, like she has a criminal record you would be in violation. Ask your probation officer for the reason and if not satisfied see his supervisor. As a last resort you can complain to the sentencing judge. Good luck.
