Re: grand larceny
AS of now it appears you are charged with grand larceny which is a felony and carries a potential prison term of greater than 1 year. Without any more information it is difficult to offer any more advise or information, what needs to be discussed is the facts of the case and your criminal history ie. have you any other convictions? If you would like you may call my office and set up a consultation @718-834-0087.
Re: grand larceny
There is enough value ($3,000)there to warrant a felony arrest. Whether that is what you plead to is hard to determine at this point. The sentence on a felony of this sort can run from probation to upstate jail, but if you have no prior arrests you will probably have an easier time. Bail may be set depending on the liklihood that you will or will not return to court. You are welcome to call for a free consultation to discuss further.
