6 months seems high. Do you have a good lawyer? What county?

I think you need to find yourself a good lawyer, it very well may be possible for you to serve no time at all, or at the very least a much lighter sentence... If there is drop to Grand larceny, and it being a first offense the likelihood my be that with proper representation you may be able to secure probation instead... however, no attorney can guarantee such a result of course.

If you would like to further discuss your case feel free to call me 24/7 at 877.229.3394 and select me from the options of attorneys (Carlos Gonzalez) you will be put through to where ever I am, office or cell phone 24/7.

It may be possible to also pay for your defense with a bail assignment, so you do not come out of pocket... or a payment plan.
