Re: grand larceny in the 4th charge
This all depends on various factors, is this her first offense? does she have any priors at all? what was the value of the item(s) that were stolen? Usually general rule is that the level of bail corresponds to the level of the seriousness of the crime, on such high bail i would presume it was a charge being taken very seriously.
On such a charge you may be looking at some serious time... if this is not a first offense you could be looking at up to or over 4 years of time.
If bail is so high, i would absolutely consider contacting and hiring a good criminal attorney... If this is a first offense, it may be very possible to get a favorable end to this case.

Re: grand larceny in the 4th charge
Grand Larceny in a 4th degree is an E felony. Generally sentences for such felony is incarceration of 1 year or less, but in certain situations judges are authorized to impose sentence of up to 4 years. A lot of times there would be no imprisonment alone. It is very difficult to predict though not having all of the details. It all depends on individual circumstances of the case and the person charged with offense. For a more detailed consultation you can contact our office and we will be glad to assist your friend with his predicament. Good luck.
