Gun Charge
i was caught in NYC with a gun in the glove box i wrote a statement that it was mine and was only for protection since im not from around there im 19 and its my first felony can you tell me what kind of charges i will have and can i get off of them

The most iportant thing is to hire a comptetent attorney, preferable one with a lot of experience handling cases like these. I would want to know several things, such as did you give permission for them to look in the glove box, was it locked or was it unlocked? why did they stop you to begin with? depending on some things I might be able to challenge the entire stop or search and get the evidence excluded from trial, basically ending the people's case against you.
