Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I need help !!!!

Hi hope u can help ok..when i was 17yrs old i was arrested for gang assult and 2months within the court hearing i was arrested for a gun charge and was bailed out again & then i went to ask a lawyer for advice & the lawyer told me to jump bail n go back to my country cause he said even tho i do the time i will get deported cause i only have a american greencard so i listen to him and left,but now im 22yrs old & i wish i can go back home to newyork is there anyway?please any advice will be helpfull thank you.

ps. i was innocent for the first arrest the asian police framed me i didnt even do it and wasnt even there.

The only way you can return to the United States is to face the charges. It could be that the witnesses in the first case are no longer around and maybe you could beat that case.
