Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
my husband is locked up on a burglary 2nd c felony. I spoke with his lawyer who said that at his next court date he will be indicted. What does this mean?

It means that a Grand Jury has voted to continue the charges or other charges against him which will now be heard in a higher court.
