Identity theft
where can I find the Law Online about the New York Identity theft? I not need to know how to stop or other information, just want to read the law. Was this law Grandfathered and is there a stature of limitations

The laws I think you are looking for are codified under the Penal law of the State of NY. There are six statutes under two titles as follows:
Identity Theft (PL 190.78, PL 190.79, and PL 190.80), and Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification Information (PL 190.81, PL 190.82 and PL 190.83).
You can find the law by accessing the Cornell University Law School site. Don't forget to leave them a small donation to keep the site going.
To my knowledge there is no ex post facto applications and the statute of Limitations on the felony is 5 years and on any misdemeanor is 3 years.
