Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Illegal Search??
My residence was searched when nobody was present at home. I came home to find my place searched and a search warrant was left. The judge wrote ''You are authorized, in the execution of this warrant, to enter the premises to be searched without giving notice of your authority and purpose.'' with these words striked out. While on the bottom of the warrant, it states that strike items not applicable or authorized. Is the warrant illegal?
