Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Inappropriate use of funds
I used 7000 from an account I was an authorize user for and now I am being told I have 7 days to put it back. I have attempted to give the funds to the other account signer but she will not take it...I was told she would be in touch she was figuring out exactly what was owed and I would get a certified letter. Should I be concerned or should I wait? I know exactly what I owe though I do not have the full amount today I can give her 5000 and she will not even take that. Please advise as to whether I should sit back and wait or seek legal help. I should add she is a friend and I know that she hasn't spoken to anyone with regards to the issue.
