Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

indicement

HI My case is being sent to grand jury for review if it will make it to trial .my question is that it was an assualt non wreckless against my girl i made a mistake out of anger .they are asking her to testify does she have to or isit better for me if she does cause she is on my side and knows i just need help cause its not like me to be violent. thank you for your attention.

You need an attorney to defend you against a possible felony indictment. You should not get involved in your girlfriend's obligation to testify. Your girlfriend has the choice of testifying or not, if she testifies it must be truthfully. You may contact my office for more information.
