Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I have a friend that was arrested for possesion of a controled substance 108 gram of cocoaine and 40 something of ecstacy pills and had a accomplish with him but his accomplish took the wrap for it all because it was hers from the start so my question is can they both be charged with the same thing
