Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

interstate probabtion supervision, NY/TX.

i have an offer on the table to have a case deferred in texas, in which no guilty plea is entered. terms are more or less 3-5 probation and a reasonable fine (relatively). I'm told after one third to one half the prob. period, i can appeal to be released.

the incident was in texas. i live in NY.

i imagine interstate transfer is an option.

my questions and concerns:

i was gearing up to work outside the country. it is a first offense, but not a conviction as case is deferred.

will i be able to leave the country legally?

where can i find information to answer the questions definitively?
