Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Jewlery Police Problem

To make a long story short, I found a piece of jewlery on the side of my g/f house which was not on any residential property. I thinking a person that goes to the school near the road I found it dropped it, decided to go sell it in which I got 70 dollars for. I found out that my g/f sister lost that jewlery I found and sold and did a police report about it. The police contacted her saying the have video tape of me selling it in which they would.

My question is is that if she pressed charges...what really can be done. All & all its just a 17yr old girl that lost a necklace.

Another question that I have is that a detective first called her saying the have video of ''My full name'' selling the necklace. Are the police allowed to give out my full name like that? Cant I now say im scared of my well-being since she knows my full name and info?
