Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

i dont want to be a defense lawyer although i do want to be rich and if i become a district atterney then i won't become rich. Do you have any suggestions. o, and also, my dream is to be a lawyer and graduate from harvard law, can you tell me what the bar exam is like?

Go to business school and get an MBA if all you want to do is to be "rich." The law is a profession - most professional DA's make much more money than the average defense attorney. Yes, sometimes we charge (and receive) "good" fees, but most times most clients can only pay a fraction of what the case is worth, so either they get a "cheaper" lawyer or we agree to a reduced fee.

No one can tell you what the Bar exam is like because like all tests, it depends on how smart you are and how prepared you are. Plus, each State has a diffent exam.

D.A.s don't make any money. And to top it off they have lousy offices.

You want to make money? Get an MBA, some basic computer skills and learn Farsi.
