Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
a judge made an error on a ruling regarding suppresses evidence
during a murder trial which ended in a conviction, the judge allowed suppressed evidence in stating on record that the defense attorney opened the door for it to come in.which in fact the record reflects that it was not the attorney but the prosecution who asked the questions in which the judge stated opened the door. my question is that serious grounds for a reversal?
