juvenile criminal case
my son was 15yrs old at the time of him being accused of assault 2 an assault one he has been in secure detention for 3 months now we ask for speed trial an legal jsut dont seem to be honoring my son request what can be done?

It is the attorneys responsibility and duty to follow the clients requests when they are reasonable... given the description of the facts it would seem that the requests are very reasonable...
there are various statutes which apply to cases such as your sons, and which govern the length of time that a person can be held without being indicted on a charge, without corroboration, etc.
