Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Larceny
I was recently contacted by the local police informing me that a california company has informed them that merchandise was supposed to be delivered to me at my girlfriends address. The merchandise was purchased with a stolen credit card. I have absolutely no knowledge of this and am worried that because my name and address were used I have no line of defense. The officer wants me to come in to talk but I dont know what to do. I am looking for any advice you might be able to give.
