Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

1My wife--name removed--of 16yrs has moved out & filed for a divorce
2 she has a Lawyer friend LC
3 LC has a senior lawyer partner--name removed--
4--name removed--is representing my wife--name removed--
5--name removed--is also a Notary Public
6 The divorce petition has on 4pages signatures of my wife--name removed--
including a verification page
7 All 4pages where my wife was to sign - her friend Mr LC has copied her signatures
8 And the senior Lawyer--name removed--has Notorized each signature (page)
9 Keep in mind my wife--name removed--writes and signs with her left hand
10 LC uses his right hand to write and sign documents
Because, I am handicaped and am not working + I do not have the funds to hire a lawyer
I applied for a pro--name removed--case, based on a poor man's application - the judge rejected
MY QUESTIONS
a) Knowing these lawyers have commited a crime, I am going to let the case end as default - and then appeal & reveal to the courts that the petition was not signed by my wife the petioner/person whose name was on the front - .
WHERE DO I STAND ON THIS ISSUE
b) Even if at that time my wife--name removed--says she authorized her friend LC to forge her signature

In the olden days, before photocopying, it was permissible for the attorney to write/type the client's name and then put a slash / in front of it. It is sometimes used today.
Do not let the matter go by default by your not contesting. You will never win at the appeal level, and your rights will be forfeited.
if you don't have money, and the court won't assign a lawyer to represent you then you can act as your own lawyer.
it is dangerous to act as your own lawyer. Look at what you have to loose, including her pension rights, possible maintenance, loss of property etc.
You will have given away the store when you can represent yourself.
