help please
can my lawyer walk out on me after i paid him half his fee? if not what should i do?

It depends on whether you have appeared before a judge in court. Once the attorney has placed their appearance on the record they must get the court's permission to be releaved from representation. If the attorney has not appeared in court the most you would have is a breach of contract action against the attorney or you could bring a complaint with the disciplinary committee of the office of court administration.
