Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
do i need a lawyer?
ok i am only 15 years old and i go to court soon for sexaul abuse in thew 1st degree. i was wondering if i should have a lawyer? yes or no? its not family court but it is city court (i believe) please answer my question soon. Thank You.

If you are 15 years old why are you going to City Court? In New York anyone under 16 goes to family court except for certain enumerated crimes. And yes - you should always be represented in such circumstances. Good luck!
