I was wrongly accused of leaving the scene of an accident. i receive a summons to go to court what should i do

Being charged and having to appear in a criminal court is a trying experience regardless of the charge, you should contact an experienced attorney to guide you throuhgh this process... overall, such a case would more than likely be on the very low end of the fees any attorney would charge.
I would suggest to you to contact an attorney ASAP and ensure that you are protected from any and any possible negative repercussions whch such a charge could bring... the last ting you need is to have a criminal record as a result of something you did not do...
