Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
legal question
I served time in jail that I was just recently told that I should never had to serve, I did two and a half years in prison due to a mistake that wasn't noticed until a few days before I maxed out my sentence.What i would like to know is what type of attorney do I need to get to pursue a lawsuit against the state for my time I spent locked away and the injury that I recieved while I was incarcerated?
