Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
how long can some one be detained , bail was set ,but could not make bail, being awaiting pre trial for six months.......D.A. keeps posponeing

If the case is a felony. A bail application, for the client's release, would have to be granted after the District Attorney was charged with 90 days of adjournments under 30.30 2b. A dismissal would occur after 6 months.
