How long can a person be held before going to arraingment
How long can a person be held in a jail before going to arraingment. My case is that the person went in front for a bond setting and that it. there has been no arraingment and no date set yet either.

Generally, in New York, a defendant is to be brought before a judge within 24 hours of his or her arrest for arraignment. Your fact pattern is a bit confusing; you state that a person went before a judge for a "bond setting." I'm not sure what a bond setting is, but you probably mean bail hearing. Bail is set simulataneously with the arraignment, so perhaps the person was arraigned and was unaware of it?
