If the harrassment is ongoing you can report it anytime. If it has stopped then you are no longer being harrassment. As for assault it is best to report this right away, if you were injured it is helpful to police to be able to see the injuries. You can report it later even up to 3 years, however, the longer you wait, the less likely there will be witnesses and evidence to the crime.
