How long can somone serve for a charge of 220.43 FA (CRIM SALE CONTRL SUBST-1ST A Felony) ? This is their first offense.

Maximum is life imprisonment if convicted. It would be considerably less if plea bargained. So much in drug cases depend on too many factors to give an accurate assessment on the information you give. With drug programs, probation is possible. In some places in New York drugs sales are beatable at trial.
