What happens if you were charged on a misdemeanor such as shoplifting and was to serve 70hours of community service and didn't serve one.

Failure to comply with the Court's direction is contempt of court and may be punished as such by imposing a stiffer sentence. You should contact the Court immediately to remedy the situation and to determine if a bench warrant has been issued.
