Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
mishandling of prescription medication
What are the legal ramifications of a 15 year old high school student giving another 15 year old student left-over narcotic pain medication without asking or receiving any payment. Furthermore, the giving student is completely unaware that he/she has done something that is illegal, but simply gave the medicine to this other student.
